As a native-born Floridian, my husband and I met as teachers in SWFL at Three Oaks Elementary School in Estero, FL, just north of my hometown of Naples.  Currently a transplant to the Charlotte, NC area, we remain close at heart to family and friends in SWFL.  Seeing the devastation and hearing the personal accounts of those in the area has been heart wrenching.
